This is such a fascinating firsthand look at the events during the founding of our Country through the eyes of one of our Founding Fathers and his spouse, Abigail Adams.  Also, we get to peek into the everyday lives and events that surround the bigger historical ones. giving us a multidimensional picture of the very lives that helped shape our beginnings.  

I'm still reading it, but I'm absolutely loving it.
